Words The Voice fans never thought would come from Adam Levine have been said.
Adam loves Blake Shelton.
The Maroon 5 front man paid The Ellen DeGeneres Show a visit this week and talked his recent induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where his rival from The Voice quickly became his biggest supporter.
“I have to say [Blake] was disarmingly charming and super nice. [There was] a little [sarcasm] in the beginning but really a negligible. He said really sweet, beautiful things. I was totally shocked. It was amazing. I love you, Blake. Thank you,” Adam said before coming to his senses and jokingly adding, “Actually, I don’t like him that much. He’s not that great....”
Adam also comments on working alongside Blake and girlfriend Gwen Stefani on the new season of The Voice.
“There whole thing is weird,” he says.
Watch Season 12 on The Voice February 27 on NBC.
