Alan Jackson's son-in-law Ben Selecman was killed in a boating accident in Jupiter, Florida on Wednesday. He was 28.
According to a post on Jackson's site, he suffered a severe head injury after a fall.
He was married to Alan's oldest daughter, Mattie. The couple got married last October after meeting at a mutual friend's wedding.
Mattie and Ben are featured in the current issue of Southern Bride magazine.
