Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is recovering after emergency surgery last week.
On Friday, the game show tweeted that Thursday's taping was canceled because the host needed a procedure to "correct a blocked intestine."
The statement added that the 73-year-old "is resting comfortably and looking forward to getting back to work."
VannaWhite filled in as host during Friday's taping and will continue to do so for at least the next two weeks.
While the show films its "Disney Week," Mickey Mouse will take over Vanna's letter-turning duties.
