Ambulance shot up in Anderson; police search for second car involved.

A Medshore ambulance was shot up early Monday by someone in a nearby vehicle, police say.

The ambulance was driving down South Fant Street around 1 a.m. when it was hit by two bullets.

No one was hurt. Police say had the bullets hit the ambulance just a few inches away in either direction, it would have hit people inside the ambulance.

Officers are looking for the other vehicles involved. So far, police have not announced any suspects.
