Miranda Lambert's Gypsy Vanners Compete for Top Prizes

Miranda Lambert wins countless awards for her musical passion, and now she's winning awards for her other passion.

The country superstar took her Gypsy Vanner horses to the Feathered Horse Summer Classic at South Carolina's Clemson University this weekend, and the event must have gone well because Miranda "smiled so much [her] face hurt."

“It has been one of the best weekends of all time. My horses performed well.... I am still green and have so much to learn but I’ve come a long way in 4 years," she captioned a photo.

The "Keeper of the Flame" singer spent her last weekend before she kicks off the Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town on July 12th at the Feathered Horse Summer Classic.

“And thanks to my team and friends," Miranda adds, "we left with ribbons, memories and a few reserve champion titles!!! It’s just a reminder to take time out for what you love and what recharges you. I can’t wait until the next one. But until then I’ll see y’all on the road!”

In a picture posted by hosts of the event, Miranda is holding a red second place ribbon.
