Morgan Wallen Admires Hometown

When it comes to Morgan Wallen, you get what you see.

Morgan isn't afraid to show his country roots. From his mullet hairstyle to his cut off flannel shirts, he is as authentic in his fashion statements as he is in his personality.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Morgan revealed that it isn't his newfound celebrity status, rising chart position, or even the fancy parties that he wants his fans to know about. He is more interested in talking about where he comes from and the people that helped pave his way.

"I grew up around a lot of good people, man. I think that's the most important thing for me," says the "How I Talk" singer. "It was a lot of people who treated each other well. It was a lot of people who would go out of their way to make sure you were taken care of, even if they don't know you."

Located about 4 hours east of Nashville, Morgan was born in a small mountain town called Sneedville, TN. His small-town claims to have a population of 1387 (2010 Census.) Morgan cites it as a sleepy town where "family" is prioritized.

"I think that's something that can be lost in a world where we are so busy, and we are all so worried about yourself. My hometown's values don't really pay attention to that; they really like to help people out."

After spending the past year touring with Luke Bryan, look for Morgan on his own headlining tour. That's right, grab the family and see Morgan on his 'If I Know Me Tour' which kicks off in January 2020.
