Ahhhh, the Christmas Bonus. It used to be a thing. I remember my dad coming home with "the envelope" back in the day. Of course, we all remember the bonus from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Love that movie. For the most part, we the people have come to expect a nice gift card or a goodie bag from our Company Christmas Parties. That's what makes this video truly remarkable. Edward St. John thanked his 199 employees at their gathering over the weekend. To say thank you for an exceptional year, St. John filled a red envelope for each employee...then said "Open 'Em Up!". The reactions are priceless. The total bonus was $10 MILLION DOLLARS!!! Based upon tenure, these lucky folks saw a check from $50,000 to as much as $250,000!!! Well done, sir!!! Merry Christmas!!
