Greenville County wants parents, guardians for input on reopening schools

Greenville County Schools is asking parents to help officials figure out what the reopening of school looks like in August.

The district has launched a survey on the GCS website to measure parent preferences and expectations in light of COVID-19.

The survey asks questions like:

If there is no widely available vaccine for COVID-19 by August, will you allow your child to return to in-person (at school) instruction this fall?

If there is no widely available vaccine for COVID-19 by August, will you allow your child to ride the bus this fall?

If GCS is unable to return to full-time in-person instruction, do you have child care options or the ability to work from home the days your child is not in school?

One parent or guardian from each GCS family is asked to complete the survey.
