So there's been a lot of talk about Jason Aldean the past few days. As we all know, he was on stage when shots began to ring out at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, killing 58 people. I can't imagine being in that situation, and coming out of it.
Saturday night Jason Aldean opened Saturday Night Live (video is below), and he was fantastic. His words, his emotion, his performance...it was exactly what he needed to. Then comes the a$$hole known at Dana White, who tried to snag some media time by CLAIMING he offered Jason Aldean the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the UFC fight this weekend that hosted survivors of the shooting. White claims that Aldean's camp told him no, saying, "He may never perform live again." White was mad when he saw Aldean on SNL. Dana White, shut up and get over yourself. Quit using this tragedy to try and plug YOUR name, you despicable human being.
With all that being said, Jason and Brittany DID go back to Veags, to visit with survivors or the shooting and try to begin to heal from this tragedy. To Jason & Brittany - we love you guys, and we will ALWAYS support you!
Feels surreal being back in Vegas today. Visiting some of the strongest people we have ever met... fighting the toughest battle of them all... for their lives. You have helped us try to begin the healing process by seeing the strength each one of you have. Thank you for today. We will never forget. #vegasstrong 🙌🏼
