Woman said Perfect Abs Are Not the Key to Happiness

I love this story. I have been much thinner in the past and much heavier in the past. I have starved myself to maintain a body that was not natural for me. Then I have gone way to the other side with over feeding myself to compensate for those miserable times. Now I am trying to get back to my "normal healthy"  weight . I refuse to starve myself this time because I know the end result will be me being right back where I am today. I am  a work in progress , I guess we all are. The lesson is never give up and never give in when being pushed to be something you are not. I will keep you posted with my progress the good the bad and the ugly of it all. I’ve been so many different shapes and sizes and I can tell you - abs are not the key to happiness 😱 It’s down to having an attitude to training and nutrition that allows you to enjoy your life while feeling your best. For me, my “best” is a fuzzy definition... was I at my best when I was shredded for my bikini comp? Or when I lost loads of weight? Or maybe now, when I’m the strongest and fittest I’ve ever been? 🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s nothing even wrong with the first picture, I just wasn’t enjoying my life or my training or anything (I think you can tell by my face 😆) It takes a lot of hard work and will power to change your body dramatically and now I’ve done it I’m like “meh 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m happy up here”. My “Why” just isn’t strong enough at the moment to be shredded! #transformation #irishfitfam #bikinicompetitor #happiness #fitnessblogger
