Ashley McBryde celebrated a milestone moment in her sobriety journey on Wednesday (June 11).

The “Light On In The Kitchen” artist marked three years without drinking. McBryde shared photos from a hiking day with a heartfelt caption on Instagram, and garnered supportive messages from other artists, including Jake Owen, Tenille Townes, Priscilla Block, Dierks Bentley, Carly Pearce, Caylee Hammack, Tigirlily Gold and more. McBryde wrote:

“Today marks 3 years. Since my last drink. My last time being ‘that guy’ in my social and professional circles. The last panicked phone call for help. The final slip up that caused the intervention from those that love me and the shift in me allowing me to say ‘that’s enough.’ The details are known by those who are deserving of such painful information. Gratitude is the guiding light today. Grief is okay. A version of me had to die off so I could become myself. I have love for her and every other version of me that had to exist so I could stand by this waterfall today. Thank you for the ability to stand here. Celebrating by connecting to Mother Earth was just the kind of party I needed. If you’re struggling, reach out. You aren’t alone and don’t have to be. You’re gonna be delighted at how many of us there are. I love you, keep going.”

McBryde recently announced her next song to release is fan-favorite “Rattlesnake Preacher.” It will arrive at the end of this month. That same day, viewers can catch McBryde hosting the three-hour televised CMA Fest special for her second consecutive year. This time, she’s teaming up with first-time host Cody Johnson. Performers who took the stage at CMA Fest, which took place from June 5 through June 8 in Nashville, include Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Rascal Flatts, The Red Clay Strays, Darius Rucker, Shaboozey, Blake Shelton, Zach Top, Keith Urban, Bailey Zimmerman and more. CMA Fest will air on Thursday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC. It will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
