You're Fired!! The Cast and Crew of "Days of Our Lives" Got A Pink Slip!

It looks like the unemployment line in Salem, Illinois will be a bit busy tomorrow. It's in this fictional town where America has watched lives unravel daily on NBC's "Days of Our Lives". Today, we learned the producers of the show released the cast from their contracts. They produce these episodes 8 months in advance and always end production at the end of November and restart shooting in the following year. "Days" first aired in November of 1965. They'll run already produced shows in those first months of 2020, during which time, NBC will decide what to do. This will be Days of Our Lives 55th Season.
