Greenville chicken processing plant sells bargain boxes during coronavirus

An Upstate chicken processing plant is selling boxes of chicken at drastically reduced prices through Saturday during the coronavirus outbreak.

House of Raeford on Rutherford Road in Greenville started selling the boxes of chicken on Tuesday at Miracle Hill Thrift Store.

The sale moved to Marathon Church on Roe Road on Wednesday.

Thursday's sale was located at the Salvation Army Krock Center, 424 Westfield St., in Greenville. Chicken breasts were being sold at this location.

House of Raeford is selling boxes of chicken from from the back of refrigerated trucks at various locations.

The sale started at 10 a.m. and continued until they ran out, which was about noon.

More sales are planned for 10 a.m. on the following dates at these locations:

Friday: Relentless Church, 635 Haywood Road, Greenville - breast, party wing. drumsticks

Saturday: House of Raeford/State Farmers Market, 1354 Rutherford Road, Greenville - tenders, wings, breast, drumsticks
