Upstate lavender farm offers free admission to frontline workers

Front line workers in the Upstate and their families are invited to enjoy beautiful lavender fields and picnicking with their families.

Twin Creeks Lavender Farm announced it will waive admission fees to its 2020 U-Pick events for all front-line workers and their families on June 5 and 6.

"First responders, front-line workers and their families have made many sacrifices, working through the pandemic to care for our loved ones and community," a release said. "These families are invited to enjoy fun in an outdoor environment where families may walk through the lavender fields, take pictures and bring their own picnic!"

“Our front-line workers are doing an amazing job taking care of us, and all of our lives have been disrupted,” says Michelle Ducworth, owner of Twin Creeks Lavender Farms. “There’s not much we can do in public right now, especially with the whole family, and we want to show our support and love for them by inviting them to enjoy our beautiful farm when they have some much deserved downtime.”
