Thousands of 'pills of death' being distributed from Upstate home

A large and complex drug operation in Greenville County has been dismantled, Bart McEntire, the commander of the Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) announced Wednesday.

McEntire said a months long investigation lead to a search warrant at 402 New Harrison Bridge Road in Simpsonville on Tuesday.

He said the investigation showed people at the home were distributing thousands of pressed pills into Greenville County and surrounding areas of the Upstate.

Most of the pills this drug gang sold were fentanyl and were being distributed under various street names, McEntire said.
