3 more Southeastern markets require customers wear face coverings

Shoppers at three more grocery chains across the Southeast will have to wear face masks to shop at their stores.

Ingles Markets and BI-LO's Southeastern Grocers are just the latest national retailers to require customers to wear a face covering to help in the fight against COVID-19.

Aldi stores announced earlier Monday the same face covering requirement, with the rule set to go into effect July 27.

Ingles new requirement goes into effect Tuesday, but will not apply to young children or to customers with medical conditions who are not able to wear a face covering, the company said.
