Upstate library branch closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19

The Greenwood County Library is closed until further notice, due to coronavirus, the interim director told WYFF News 4.

Tracey Ouzts says a staff member tested positive, and they are closed in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ouzts says she is initially looking at a 14-day closure, but that could change if other staff test positive, so they will be closed "until further notice."

She said other staff members are being tested and quarantining.

The Ware Shoals and Ninety Six branches of the library system are still open, and books can be returned at any locations.
