A death investigation is underway in Laurens County Tuesday after a woman was found dead, according to the Laurens County Sheriff.
Laurens County Deputy Coroner Patti Canupp said the woman's autopsy is not yet complete.
She said a home health care nurse found the woman in a yard this morning.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded about 10:50 a.m. to Allegra Lane and discovered the woman's body.
"Multiple dogs were removed from the premises," Public Information Officer Courtney Snow said.
