Stroller carrying 2 kids hit by car in Greenville crosswalk, police say

Police are looking for a driver who they said struck a stroller, carrying two children, in a crosswalk Wednesday afternoon.

Greenville Police said around 1:38 p.m., a white SUV turned left from Gallivan Street on to North Main Street, where it hit a stroller carrying two small children as it was being pushed through a crosswalk.

Police said the driver then continued at a high speed, headed southbound on North Main Street toward downtown.

Officials described the driver as a white female, approximately 60 to 75 years old, with a short "bob" haircut and large sunglasses.

The children were not hurt.
