There are many joys to parenting, but there are also rough days, and Emily Schmitt had one of those this week. The 30-year-old real estate agent from Ohio is a mother of four, so she's experienced a lot of what being a mom has to offer, but even she was surprised with what her two-year-old daughter Carsyn did. While Emily was getting ready in the morning, in various stages of undress, she was unknowingly part of a photo shoot. Little Carsyn was playing with the phone and taking all kinds of pics of her mom. Normally that wouldn't be the worst thing, but somehow, the girl also sent it to a bunch of Emily's friends on Snapchat. Among the photos was one of Emily's bare butt.
Schmitt had no idea anything even happened until a co-worker texted her and thanked her for "the nude." That's when she realized the pic went out to a bunch of contacts, including clients, old flames and other co-workers. According to the Daily Mail, Emily said, "I was mortified. I literally think I died for a minute then came back to life so I could tell people what happened."
And she did - Schmitt posted her tale on social media, including Facebook, where she captioned it, "Since the initial shock is over, and the freakout moments already passed, and the acceptance phase has arrived, I figure I would share what happened to me yesterday. Toddler for sale."
In the end, Emily figured out that Carsyn had send the naked photos to 15 people, noting, "It's people I don't talk to all the time. I was like, 'Oh, there's the guy I went to college with who had a crush on me,' and, 'Oh, there's a past client of mine,' 'There's an old co-worker.'"
Nonetheless, Emily sent an apology to everyone and heard back from some who said they only got a photo of her ceiling or Carsyn's foot. However, others confessed they saw Emily's entire backside.
Since it is Snapchat, there is some good news - the pics disappeared after a day and Emily saw no one screen-shotted it.
As for Carsyn, all Emily can say is, "It's so funny - this child of mine is wild. We just say she's feral - she cannot be tamed."
