Luke Bryan is begging time to slow down as he wishes a happy birthday to his son Bo, who turns 14. Bryan took to his social media channels to share a father-son photo of the two of them grinning ear to ear, captioning the post with a sentimental message: “Happy birthday Bo Bryan. 14 already. Time please slow down. I love you.”

The country hitmaker and his wife, Caroline, have two sons: Bo and Tate, 11. Caroline added her own post, sharing a hilarious photo and writing: “And just like that…he’s 14! My baby is officially bigger than me and won’t let me kiss him. You’ll always be my little ‘Bushwood Country Club Caddie’. I love you Bo!!! Ps…you should let me kiss you whenever I want. You and Tate wrecked my HooHa for life!”

Bryan is celebrating his son’s birthday amid a few big career highlights. The “Down To One” singer is in the midst of his Las Vegas residency — which is set to start up again in June — and is returning on the celebrity judge panel of American Idol, along with Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. In Vegas, Bryan promised “the vibe is already really energetic and kind of a party,” on top of hosting his residency show. Idol has also had a strong start, including with a history-making country singer. Bryan said Hunter Wolkonowski, 23, who introduced herself as Huntergirl, could be the next Miranda Lambert when he heard her cover “Riot” by Rascal Flatts during her audition.
