Shania Twain Reveals The Key To Kicking Off 2026 The Right Way

Shania Twain revealed the key to kicking off 2026 “with kick-a** energy,” she said on Wednesday (December 31).

The iconic country-pop superstar, 60, posted a clip from her “That Don’t Impress Me Much” music video with a message for anyone getting ready for the countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve. Twain said: “If you press play on ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ on December 31 at exactly 11:59:19, I will say ‘that don’t impress me much’ as the clock strikes midnight blessing your 2026 with kick-a** energy.” She added in her Instagram caption, “impress me 2026!”

Twain released “That Don’t Impress Me Much” on her Come On Over album in the late 90s. The unforgettable studio album also included “You’re Still the One,” “Honey, I’m Home,” “From This Moment On,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!,” and more.

They’re all set to perform during the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash show, headlined by Jason AldeanLainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman. The show will air live on Wednesday, Dec. 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. Premium subscribers will be able to stream the show live and on demand, and essential plan subscribers will be able to watch the special the day after it airs.
