Reba McEntire is going to have a new grandchild soon!
The legendary country artist’s son, Shelby Blackstock, and his wife, Marissa Blackstock, are preparing to welcome Baby No. 1. Marissa shared a few glimpses of the baby shower on her Instagram story over the weekend, which showed that they plan to name their son Archer Blackstock. The parents-to-be hosted a music-themed baby shower, calling it Archer’s “Welcome To The World” Tour.
Shelby and Marissa, who previously opened up about her IVF journey, shared in a Disney-themed pregnancy announcement this spring: “Oh, BOY! We’re beyond excited to FINALLY announce our little man is coming in October. See ya real soon, pal! Mommy + Daddy love you! 🤟🏼”
McEntire, 71, shares Shelby with ex-husband Narvel Blackstock, 69. The former couple got married in 1989 and split up in 2015. McEntire is got engaged to actor Rex Linn, 69, in December 2024. They've been dating since early 2020.
