Bunnie Xo said she “will never” get married again after she and Jelly Roll finalized their divorce.

Jelly Roll, 41, and Bunnie Xo, 46, parted ways after nearly a decade of marriage. The podcast host revealed she “can’t” ever say “I do” again during recent episode of Dumb Blonde. She hosted actress and model Denise Richards on the show, and as the two of them spoke about their former marriages, Richards, 55, said, “I will never get married again.”

“No, me either. I can’t do it. I will never,” Bunnie Xo agreed. She went on to say, “the only people who know what’s going on inside of a divorce or a relationship, no matter how public they are, is the two people that are in it. All these other narratives that are created are not real, and people need to stop believing headlines. It’s just not what it is.”

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll met in 2015. She previously shared that their relationship was “strictly platonic” at first, but they were “so drawn” to one another. They started dating and spontaneously got married in August 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jelly Roll and Bunnie returned to the same venue to renew their vows in August 2023. The former couple separated on May 9, and Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, located outside of Nashville. The divorce was finalized on July 17. Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have since appeared to unfollow one another on social media, and the Grammy-winning artist announced a break from touring as he takes time to heal (however, he did not specifically mention the divorce when he made the announcement).

The bestselling Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic author opened up about the split — including the argument that led to the separation and the divorce filing — on a since-deleted episode of her podcast. She removed it because “I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline. I don’t want to live in that, you know? I believe in being transparent with you guys and that’s never, ever, ever going to change. But I also believe that people deserve the space to heal, to evolve and to move forward.”

Jelly Roll, who directed people to the podcast episode before his now-ex took it down, addressed the divorce on stage. He said, in part, that ”me and my wide are best friends. We will always be best friends. …That will be my best friend forever.”

Both Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have emphasized that “nobody cheated,” as they opened up about the divorce. During her conversation with Richards on Dumb Blonde, Bunnie opened up about having previously “gone through a situation with an affair.” She said on the podcast, “it’s not the act that hurts you. It’s the lies. It’s like whiplash, and the people who are involved in it — it’s slimy. Betrayal trauma literally, it rewires your brain to not trust people, to just feel disgusting, because you’re the last to know. It’s a different kind of hurt.”
