Carly Pearce hilariously shared the difference between working with Michael Bublé’s team and Riley Green’s team on The Voice.

Pearce returned to the competition show to serve as Battle Advisor for Green’s team in the current milestone 30th season. She previously mentored Bublé’s team as Playoff Advisor in 2024. Pearce jokingly addressed the difference between working with the two artists in a clip shared on Instagram on Monday (October 12).

“Working with Michael Bublé, I mean, he’s a fine singer. He’s a fine artist. But Riley Green is like a true artist. He’s a true icon. He’s an amazing vocalist, musician, singer. …They picked the right person this season,” Pearce said. “You know, when Michael found out that I was going to be a mentor again, we did speak on FaceTime and I don’t know that he’s very happy with me. Sorry, Michael. But where are you?”

Bublé appeared on screen to share his reaction.

“I can’t believe Kelsea Ballerini said that about me,” he said. “She’s usually so nice.”

An off-camera voice corrected him, “No, it was Carly Pearce.”

“Oh, Carly Pearce. Yeah. That tracks. That tracks,” Bublé said. “I wonder if I’d look better with a mustache?”

Pearce said with a laugh that she and Bublé are “really good friends, so this is fine. I promise.”

Ballerini served as an advisor for Bublé’s team in late 2025, after serving as an advisor and a substitute for Kelly Clarkson’s team in earlier seasons. She made her debut as a coach in spring 2025. Ballerini reacted in the comments on Instagram, “hahahahhahaah this is incredible, we love you [Michael Bublé].”

Other advisors this season include Patti LaBelle on Queen Latifah’s team, Alex Warren on Adam Levine’s team, and Ariana DeBose on Clarkson’s team. The Voice airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. It’s available to stream the following day on Peacock.
