Crew members teamed up to prank Riley Green on The Voice.
Green is making his debut as a coach on the competition show in its milestone 30th season. The country hitmaker appears alongside first-time coach Queen Latifah, plus returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine. The Voice’s crew recently pranked Green by surprising him in fake mustaches as a nod to the singer-songwriter’s signature look.
Green reacted to the prank — and took a selfie with host Carson Daly, who partook in the joke with a fake mustache of his own — in a compilation video shared by The Voice over the weekend. The video shows outtakes and other behind-the-scenes moments. See it here.
Green said he “couldn’t have picked better people to be around [than Latifah, Levine, Clarkson and Daly],” during a recent interview for PEOPLE’s 2026 Sexiest Man Alive issue. “They’ve been great. We’ve pre-recorded quite a bit. The fun thing about the [live shows, which kick off on November 9] is I’ll be finding out [results] like everybody else. And I’m really excited that I’m not having to send people home! I’m glad America can do it, and I’ll just try to help them along the way.”
The Voice airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on NBC. It’s available to stream the following day on Peacock.
