Like many of you, I have prayed that officer Turner would pull through and survive her injuries. She was a brave officer just doing her job when she was gunned down. On October 3, Turner was wounded in the line of duty while attempting to serve a search warrant on a residence in Florence County. The suspected shooter, 74-year-old Frederick Hopkins was trying to protect his son 28-year-old Seth Hopkins, who is accused of sexually assaulting a child. Two officers died, officer Terrence Carraway died at the scene to protect a suspected child molester. Unbelievable!!
