Lunchbox finally received the workout equipment he won on The Price is Right.
According to Lunchbox, the delivery did not go as expected. The company told him the equipment would arrive sometime between 9am and 5pm and promised a call 30 minutes before delivery. Instead, he came home to find the package already sitting on his front porch. They never called, they just had a forklift, lifted up a pallet and put it wherever they wanted. The delivery people didn't ask where they wanted it, it was just placed on the front porch blocking the front door... all 276 pounds of it. Lunchbox admitted they haven't moved it since it got delivered, the whole family now has to climb over the boxes to get to the front door. He was also disappointed with how anticlimactic the experience felt. He wanted the delivery to include a video, celebration or "YAY PRICE IS RIGHT" moment, but nothing like that happened.
The show encouraged Lunchbox to just sell the equipment rather than moving it around a bunch since he plans to get rid of it anyway. Bobby told him to “List that sucker on Facebook Marketplace.” Lunchbox agreed that selling it is the best option, but he still needed to determine a fair price. He estimated the retail value at around $1,400 and hopes it being won on The Price is Right makes it even more valuable. However, he noted whoever buys it will likely need a truck and multiple people to move it. Bobby predicts that Lunchbox will probably get about half the price since people tend to be skeptical of online listings. Lunchbox also noted he's worried if he shows it was won on The Price is Right then someone will know it's him, recognize he's from the show, and then know where he lives.
Despite all the hiccups, Lunchbox admitted he did already pay his taxes on all of his prizes in one lump sum totaling "700 and something dollars."
