Bobby shared updates from his ongoing "Tuesday Giving" initiative, explaining that he only checks his direct messages on Tuesdays to find opportunities to help listeners with different things going on in their lives.
One of the messages came from a mother whose daughter had signed up for an eight-and-under softball league. The mother had paid a $100 registration fee believing it covered all expenses, only to discover additional costs for equipment such as a glove. She told Bobby she did not have the money to cover those extra expenses. Bobby sent the mom some money so she could get things covered for her daughter. He also provided an update on a military veteran who had recently reached out for assistance purchasing shoes. The veteran sent photos showing that he had used the money to buy two pairs of Nike shoes, and he even included a photo of his old shoes to prove he wasn't scamming Bobby.
As Bobby continues his efforts, he suggested that listeners who are seeking help should include their Venmo information in their messages. He reiterated that he only reviews requests on Tuesdays and noted that some requests have been for amounts far beyond what he is able to provide. He mentioned receiving requests for as much as $40,000 and made it clear that those types of requests are outside the scope of "the program." Instead, Bobby said he prefers helping with smaller, practical needs. So far his efforts have included supporting an archery team, helping an eight-and-under softball team, and providing a meal for a barbecue team. Eddie also participated in one of the recent efforts by making a donation to the barbecue team.
